My incredible parents took me to the Leonardo Da Vinci "Genius" exhibit in Salt Lake City as a little good-bye present before I leave for Jerusalem! The exhibit was very interesting. My dad was in good company with Leonardo's genuis inventions and ideas, and my mom probably could have told Leonardo how to paint his Mona Lisa.
I got to thinking about how we celebrate the genius of this man, but nobody celebrates the genius of my parents in an overpriced exhibit. There is genius in all of us (well, most of us :)). We come to this earth with a specific purpose or two, and our Heavenly Father has given us all the tools and opportunities we need to complete our mission. The genius of Leonardo couldn't have been replicated by anybody else, but our own genius cannot be replaced, either. Get out a sketchbook or something and decide what your genius is, and figure out how to use it to fulfill the Lord's purposes!
